Antoine Carbonne

Born 1987 in Paris. Initially interested in comics, he turned to painting where he examined different forms of narration in the single image. Taking the form of an adventure “of which you are the hero”, his first exhibitions represent projection spaces in which everyone will be free to create narrative tension. Large format paintings allow this almost bodily immersion in landscapes of pure colors. His work has been the subject of various collective and personal exhibitions and his works are present in private collections in Belgium and France. He has notably created frescoes as part of public commissions, such as at the Villa Noailles (Hyères), and privately, notably the Tour d'Argent (Paris) as well as the windows of the Hermès house.
