Valéria Nascimento

Over the years, my work has come to focus on large commission based installations. I always take into consideration the space that my installations are going to be housed in, to me it is very important that they blend in to their environment, complementing the space. My inspiration is drawn mostly from the natural world, though my work carries references to both architectural and botanical forms. For as long as I can remember I have always been fascinated with repetitive sequencing in my work.
